چکیده

Objectives Migraine is a complex neurological disorder that typically presents with unilateral cephalgia associated cognitive impairment and reduced interoception. These symptoms result in socio-economic repercussions due to productivity, efficiency, work performance. Therefore, along headache management, improving cognition interoception should also be significant therapeutic targets effectively manage migraine. To achieve this, we propose explore the role of yoga-based visual respiratory biofeedback (VRB) as possible strategy. Methods analysis At least 64 participants will recruited for trial after screening eligibility criteria, using migraine questionnaire Montreal assessment test. They randomly allocated (1:1) either experimental group receiving 20-min session VRB or control who asked watch documentary film same duration. Visuospatial assessed by Corsi block-tapping task, cardiac interoceptive accuracy heartbeat counting task at baseline immediately intervention. Based on distribution variance data obtained, conducted based linear mixed models SPSS version 28.0.1.0, two-sided p -value < 0.05 considered statistically significant. Discussion best our knowledge, this first study design assess effects therapy migraineurs. Furthermore, postulated pranayama's might enhanced yogic biofeedback. Considering burden migraine, if found effective, investigated could Clinical registration ClinicalTrials.gov CTRI, CTRI/2023/03/050430.
